Rise of the Home Bakers! (Part 1)

COVID has caused many people to turn to baking for comfort, and in some instances, income as well. It is actually a therapeutic hobby to have and it's nice to see many people enjoying it apart from the fact that sometimes you come across empty aisle of caster sugar or vanilla essence when you need it most >_<

That aside, long before COVID, I had a hand at baking/making various types of cakes. During my uni studies, my trademark cake was a no-bake cheesecake. It was quite easy to make and I would usually just look out for Philadelphia cheese sales :P

Once, I tried to make mini versions of them looking like Olaf (with coconut & chocolate) for a friend who liked that snowman:

Of course I had hoped to improve my skills over time :P so here I am years later and glad to have discovered Little Miss Bento who makes food with very cute presentations for packed lunchboxes :) She launched a baked cheese tart kit during this COVID period so here is my attempt! =(^o^)=

The taste is really good;- especially when using a vanilla pod instead of essence! But next time I shall have to adjust the oven to ensure more even baking for aesthetic purposes :P
