I found German Beers in Singapore! 🍻🥨🤩

My first discovery was Hofbräuhaus beer at NTUC. They had both the original and wheat (weisse) beer versions in a bottle! I was extra excited about this cause it was during Oktoberfest season, so NTUC was also having a promotion on these beers, and I had just returned home and was missing Munich ><

My 2nd discovery was Erdinger Weissbier in cans, sold as a 4 pack at ColdStorage. Erdinger is more commonly found in Singapore than the other beers, and can also be found in the other supermarkets, in bottled form, and even in many restaurants/eateries. Though helles is still my favourite, it's quite nice that "Weissebeer" is what is being represented here as German/Munich beer, which is also quite true of what is unique to the beers found in that region.

I also found Franziskaner at ColdStorage, and similarly the weissebier version. In Munich, the alcohol-free version was quite popular at the supermarkets.

And lastly of course Paulaner which even has a beer house in Singapore! They are popular in Munich, being associated with FC Bayern (football club) and of course one of the big brands that follows the German purity law for beer making. It is not as easy to find the canned versions, but selected 7/11s seem to carry them.
