One Kueh at Time is a really special soon kueh place hidden in the industrial estate in Pandan Loop. They have different flavoured hand made soon kuehs, though I like the bak kuah one the most. Their little eatery is really nice and cozy with many antiques and plants. It is actually quite accessible from Clementi station, with a straight bus (285) that stops just outside.

Another place I've really come to like is Jo-Yi bakery (takeaway). Everyday they have different flavoured buns/breads, portugese egg tarts, pandan or orange chiffon and my favourite- banana cake! It has the old school bakery vibe, and the portion sizes are just nice for a simple tea for one person, or even a few family members/friends.
