Wolfratshausen <3

I discovered yet another town, and this one is easily accessible by S-bahn line S7 :) Its a very unique Bavarian town located amongst the forest and hills;- the ride there passes by an expanse of luscious greenery and you can see these cute brown and white cows just roaming around :P The view of alps is also breathtaking! The town itself is known as the "rafting town" as the Isar river passes through it, and historically, it was used to transport goods to Munich city! I thought that was a really cool fun fact especially when I keep seeing the Isar river in the city itself, so if you open googlemaps it's pretty impressive to see how this stretches all the way across geographically, and that this distance is about a 45min train ride.

I got to visit the Wirtshaus Flößerei while I was there, and it is a really nice Bavarian restaurant with outdoor seating that has biergarten vibes. I had the schnitzel and a radler, which the lady who served me -"and to drink?"- was very amused that I knew what I wanted without a menu :P The people there were very warm and the food was really really delicious- it was sincerely the best roast potatoes I had eaten >< The beer itself tasted a little different from the ones I had in the city before and I never realised I would be able to tell the difference, but it was nice to taste something new : ) The restaurant overlooks the river and every 15mins you can hear the sound of the church bells nearby. If you get a chance to visit for the weekend, I would definitely recommend it~
