Summer Vibes #Munich

This is a very motivating song about not giving up despite things never going to plan >< We just learn to re-evaluate and keep going. However, to get some rest from some of the chaos, there are actually some beautiful lakes within Munich that you can easily walk/cycle to, and summer is the perfect weather to enjoy what nature can offer. One example is Lerchenauer See and you can actually swim in it! : ) The park itself also has very lush greenery.

I also tried a new icecream place recommended by a friend! Ballabeni Icecream which serves creamy but not so heavy (due to the flavor profile) icecream in this pretty flower shaped cone. I had the chocolate ginger and the rose hisbicus with the extra spoon of basil;- my favourite was the rose & hibiscus : )

Lastly, there is the Tollwood Festival going on. There are booths selling crafts (e.g. jewelry, woven bags etc) and food/beer. There is a wide variety of food like burgers, chips, paella and even one selling indian inspired curries! It's very easily accessible by bus 144 from a number of U-bahn stations. It's just really really hot at 29-30degrees these days >< and so a cold beer is always a good idea.
