More caffeinated scientist tales! #Munich

Recently I discovered a really cute cafe with nice coffee and it was even better to venture there with some fellow scientists :P I say cute because it's called "Little Rabbit's Room", and it truly feels like you are entering a rabbit's room when you walk through the narrow doorway into this cozy cafe, located in a house with many windows.

There is outdoor seating for you to enjoy the small bites (e.g. brownie, banana bread, sandwiches) and coffee. They also sell some cards and handmade jewelry. I also really liked their efforts towards sustainability by using cups from RECUP

It's also interesting how they are located at Max-Weber-Platz, which is quite a historic location, so if you are passing by the U-Bahn station, you get to see a horse-drawn tram on display on the top floor as you exit! : ) If you'd like to know more about the history of the whole place, you can read about it HERE.

In other news Season2 of Biohackers is out on Netflix! :D I learnt today that it was filmed partially in University of Freiburg, but also mainly here in Munich! >< Anyway if you are fascinated by what science can do, or like to question some of the ethics behind new gene editing technologies, then that's a good show for you! : )
