It has been a while since I posted! Much has happened, but am lucky to be in Munich studying some interesting science : ) As usual I believe a good way to explore a new place is through food : P As such I began looking for some coffee spots around the city. Unfortunately due to COVID we are on lockdown so only takeaway options are available, but amidst the safe distancing, these cups of coffee did provide the necessary warmth in this chilly/rainy Munich weather :D
So far, Man vs Machine is my favourite coffee place :) I like the way the coffee is well balanced and the really interesting artwork on the cup. Their catchphrase is "life may be bitter but your coffee shouldn't be!" hehe
The sweet spot was a chance find on a rainy day, and I ducked in to order a latte after getting to view the really beautiful church and architecture at Marienplatz. The coffee I had had more fruity notes.
I also got to try Aroma KaffeeBar which seems be a very popular spot and had a queue when I arrived! It's linked to a little bakery on the side as well. I liked the really bright eye catching neon decor and the fact that coffee is served in jars (environmentally friendly!)
