32degrees Icecream Weather >< #Munich

Summer has officially arrived in Munich and I get these heat advisories popping up on my phone because temperatures hit 32degrees >< somehow, it feels even more like home now where it's pretty much summer all year round ><

I've been greeted by a fiery red sunrise, seen people swim in the Isar river which seems to be the place to be in summer, and also discovered Sebastian Jung's poem of sorts Europe Ice Weather. It's about COVID life, icecream, just everyday scenes in Munich, and I really liked the ending "I’m ready. Two whole packages of muesli. The end of the world can come." :P

But it's true this weather truly calls for icecream and was glad to discover 2 places. Der Verrückte Eismacher seems to be a very popular and well known parlour, and has very unique icecream flavours like beer and even salami! >< The decor is alice in wonderland themed so there is something quite magical about the place. Besides whatever you're getting, they also give you a little additional spoon of any flavour you want to try :P

The other is more of a hidden gem but I really liked Jessas Eis for the hipster vibes, spinkle choco cones and while not as 'outrageous' but still special flavours like basil. Also the owner is just a really friendly man : ) He has many other refreshing flavours like mango and strawberry besides the usually chocolate varieties, and it's definitely something much needed in this heat ;)
